Shila at Sawangan Japandi Bedroom

The Shila at Sawangan project embodies the essence of Japandi—a design philosophy that bridges the gap between East and West. By combining the rustic warmth of Scandinavian 'hygge' with the refined elegance of Japanese 'wabi-sabi', we've created a space that celebrates simplicity, natural materials, and deliberate craftsmanship.

Design Concept

The focus of this master bedroom was to cultivate a sense of zen through a neutral, earth-toned palette and clean, unobstructed lines. Every element is intentional, designed to foster a deep connection to the living space and promote a balanced lifestyle.

Key Features

  • Low-Profile Platform Bed: A signature Japandi element that grounds the room and creates an airy, open feel.
  • Natural Light & Texture: Floor-to-ceiling windows paired with soft linen drapery and light-toned wood panelling.
  • Minimalist Integration: Bespoke storage solutions that eliminate clutter while maintaining a sleek, architectural silhouette.

Material Selection

  • White Oak
  • Textured Linen
  • Natural Cane accents
  • Matte Stone finishes
  • Shoji-inspired sliding panels
